Bab 52: Portal to the Unknown

The day was filled with so many revelations that Rose didn't know what to do with herself.

She had watched Chris storm off after knowing that his sister was targeted and now they were targeting his niece. Rose didn't stop him. If he found some answers, she was really thankful.

Rose only wanted to sleep now. There was nothing she would want more than some well needed rest.

She slept happily.

Asher on the other hand was happy like a kid. He wanted to know every detail of the place. He was about to ask his mother but something told him that she would hit him if he pestered her.

"What to do now? Hmm?"

Ashed walked to and fro and kept thinking what kind of gifts he could get for his uncles.

He didn't know if he had cousins.

Now he felt nervous.

He never felt this anxious because he had no cousins growing up. There were distant ones like June. She called him cousin but they weren't related. At all.
