Abigail's eyes widened when she unexpectedly ran into him again.

"Huh! It's you again. What a coincidence," he quipped, smirking in her direction.

Abigail returned his smile, the unexpected encounter bringing a hint of amusement to her features. "Yeah, it is."

"I didn't expect to see you here." Lance appeared genuinely curious as he spoke, his tone laced with interest.

Abigail offered an explanation, gesturing towards the ice cream shop. "Oh, I came to meet my friend. And what about you? Did you come to meet your friend too?"

"Hahaha… No…" He laughed. "I was just passing by. Then I saw the supermarket." Lance pointed to the supermarket adjacent to the ice cream shop. "I stopped to buy some stuff."

"I see." Abigail nodded, looking at the carrying bag in his hand.

"How are you doing?" Lance inquired, his tone shifting to a more serious note.

"I am doing great." Abigail's reply was full of vigor.
