Bab 318: I am not afraid of your father.

Abigail was curious as to what Christopher was going to do and how he was going to take her away, eluding the watchful eyes of her father's spies. She raised her head and looked him in the eyes.

"How are you going to take me home?" she asked. "My father will not let you succeed in your plan."

Christopher smirked. "I am not afraid of your father. You are my legal wife. He has no right to keep you away from me."

"Huh…" She rolled her eyes. "Don't underestimate my father. He can twist the facts and prove that I am just a look-alike of your dear wife."

"No, no… I don't dare underestimate your father." He chuckled. "I am very much aware of how powerful and dangerous a man he is."

The sarcasm was dripping from his words.

"Tsk…" Her nose wrinkled. "I am serious. How are you going to do everything while my father's spies are watching?"
