Bab 49: A Father Hatred

"Here, let me help you." Sebastian moved closer and stood behind her.

His hands covered hers, guiding her fingers to hold the cue correctly. His chest lightly pressed against her back as he leaned in.

His breath warm against her ear as he spoke softly. "Like this, see?" His deep voice sent a shiver down her spine.

Irene's heart raced as she felt the strength of his arms around her. He guided her stance, positioning her feet gently with his own, creating an intimate cocoon around her.

It wasn't the first time Sebastian had been that close to her, but the tension between them never went out.

"Can I shoot it now?" Irene's voice cracked because of her nervousness.

"Of course."

As he guided her in the shot, their closeness made her pulse quicken. She barely noticed the cue sliding forward or the satisfying crack as the ball rolled into the pocket.
