Sylus's green eyes were just as cold as the day we met.
"Harley!"
"What?!" I glowered at him, reaching my hands up to shove him off, but instead fisted his shirt, having him right there like I didn't want him to move away from me.
"You either start talking, or I'll make you."
"It's all your fault."
"My fault?"
Anger rolled through me in waves. "Yeah, if you hadn't made this stupid deal with my father, I wouldn't have been dealing with threats from who I can't even find. Do you realize the kind of deep shit I'm in because of you? My brother, me, and that little girl could die any day, but you wouldn't know that."
"What are you talking about?" He was confused.
I took my phone out of the pocket of my pants, unlocked the message, and showed it to him. "What do you think?" Sylus snatched the phone from me and began to scroll and read through the messages.
