Bab 13: First Night Together?

"What are you thinking about?" - asked Li jie coming in with the food.

Looking at him, she smiled and said, "Nothing"

returning a smile to her, he said, "Aunt Gu made some noodles for you. eat them while they are still hot. " - he said putting them on the table near the couch.

Passing her the bowl and chopsticks "eat" - he said.

Taking the bowl from him, she thanked him and started digging in.

Throughout the meal, both of them sat side by side in silence. Xiaoxi was eating and Li jie was working on his laptop.

When Xioaxi was almost done with her bowl, he looked up to her and asked, "Are you full? do you want to eat more?"

Shaking her head, she said, "No Thank you. I am Full. Mom is right. Aunt Gu is really a good cook." - Xiaoxi commented.

Smiling at her, he took the bowl from her.

Taking the bowl from her hand, Li Jie said" i will take the bowl and you can rest."

" Since there is only a single bed and your sleeping posture needs the entire bed, you can sleep here, while i will go and sleep in the study. Good night" said Li Jie who went out of the room closing the door.

embarrassed, Xiaoxi blushed. She really couldn't refute. her sleeping posture is indeed troublesome.

"Good night" - Li jie said walking out of the room.

Looking at the closed door, Zhang Xiaoxi could not help but smile while a warm feeling crept up to her heart.

Li Jie was completely different from what people claim him to be, he is sweet and caring.

Though it is the first day of marriage, he did many things for her. From clearing the wardrobe to bringing noodles for her, giving his bed to her and he himself sleeping in study.

All these things he did, made her feel comfortable. Though they were wife and husband, he gave her space she needed to get settled.

Thinking about things Li Jie did,Zhang Xiaoxi started reflecting on her actions. Thinking to take care of Li Jie, she closed her eyes and went back to sleep.

In the study, Li Jie scrunched on the couch which was half of his size. Even though the couch is uncomfortable he was in deep thoughts that the couch doesn't mattered.

Thinking about various things happened that day he could help but think that there is actually a slight change in his mood.

With All the thoughts , he closed his eyes to sleep only to imagine how cute was the mole on Xiaoxi's upper lip.

surprisingly, her beauty, her embarrassed face, her wide eyes occupied his mind not allowing him to sleep.

Sighing, he got up from the couch and went to his table and opened his laptop at least to get his work done.

Today was their wedding night, though both if them were in seperate rooms but their thoughts were same. They were thinking about each other.

Not feeling awkward around each other on the first day of marriage was already a huge step in their relationship.
