Bab 5: Run, Ru, Run!

Hearing Ru's scream, the demon added a new face—a mask—without turning its neck. Its fresh eyes, scorched by flames, were fixed on Ru.

A growl escaped the demon's throat, "Padre!"

Alan opened the door with a kick and pulled Ru out of the classroom with all his might.

"Get out of the building now! Follow me," Alan urgently exclaimed.

"No, that's impossible, it can't be real. I must be dreaming," Ru was delirious but continued to run.

Meanwhile, the demon with four faces made of masks broke the door open with its claws. The people in the hallway were in a panic.

As the students fled in fear, the demon moved through the school like a scalpel, destroying everything around them. Doors, windows, and desks were smashed with great force.

Four blades emerged from its torn hands. The blades began to spin like propellers, pulling everything toward them.

Ru saw a student being pulled by the demon's wind and shattered in the air.

"We're going down. The fire escape," Alan said, surprisingly calm.

Students, teachers, and staff ran in a panic, blocking all the roads. But the demon had a head adorned with six horns, four all-seeing faces, flaming tails, and huge feet. Its knives were a bonus. It bent slightly and threw them.

The corridor was stained with splattered blood and severed limbs as two circular saws cut their way across the marble floor.

"Don't, please don't!" said the math teacher who had suddenly found himself in a slaughterhouse.

The demon grabbed the teacher's arms, lifted him, and slammed him against the ceiling and wall several times.

The teacher collapsed, every bone in his body broken, but still alive. A firebolt from the demon hit the nearby wall, raining flames down on him.

The teacher was on fire and could only moan because of his broken jaw.

Ru rushed towards the injured teacher, but fortunately, his deskmate grabbed his arm and stopped his action just in time.

<Come back, Dad! >

<There will be more. >

< You have to stop them. >

<You always beat them. >

<You will win again. >

<Don't run away, Dad, please! >

"How," Ru asked quietly.

They had almost reached the fire escape when Ru's ears caught the sound of a growl. It sounded like a shadow or something like that had rushed past them.

"Damn, this door is jammed," Alan said, trying to open the steel door with his shoulder.

"They're coming," Ru said. "They're coming to get me..."

Alan interrupted Ru, "I think they're here to kill us all. Don't take it personally. You have to help me."

A scream from nearby was followed by a powerful growl that cut through them like a knife.

"What the hell was that," Alan asked.

"Hellhound," said Ru, embarrassed to be so pedantic. "Get out of my way," he said, shoving Alan away. "Can't you see the door is locked?"

"Oh, okay then," Alan said, shuddering at what he had just seen.

Ru pulled a bobby pin out of Alan's hair. He stuck it into the keyhole and rattled the lock.

"Dude! Is that... a dog? It's here," Alan said, his voice shaking. He pointed at it with his hand, the thing, the hellhound.

The half-invisible creature was a colossal nightmare, a silhouette barely glimpsed through the choking ash and writhing shadows. Eyes, or at least where eyes should be, burned with an unholy crimson light. A fetid stench, a cocktail of sulfur and decay, rolled off it in waves, making every exposed nerve scream. A crimson drool dripped like molten metal from its gaping maw, each drop sizzling as it hit the blistered ground. It wasn't just growling anymore. The sound was a cacophony of tortured howls. And then, it appeared: a severed hand, still clutching a ragged scrap of cloth, lay sprawled at the monstrosity's feet, the fingers twitching incessantly as if in silent pleas for help.

Alan was about to faint and the dog was about to jump on him.

Ru opened the door, grabbed Alan, and pulled. The jumping hellhound was pinned between the rapidly closing iron door.

<This is our Father! >

<Shred that dog! >

<Finish it! >

<Kill it! >

Ru heard the voices of hundreds, maybe thousands of girls. They all shouted in unison.:

<Kill it! Kill it! Kill it! >

The hellhound howled and moaned in pain.

Ru was in a dilemma and had to make a choice now. Three options appeared before his eyes.

1- He could kill the dog,

2- He could save the dog.

3- He could run away.

"Shit!"
