Bab 493: Mariam's Fate

Their death was felt by every living thing in the realm. The earth trembled as the sky grew dark. Heavy rain pelted down violently on the land. The wind howled and growled. Nature mourned their death, acknowledging their sacrifice. 

The sound of wails filled the air within the protective layer they left for their people. The little royalties left behind cried themselves to a point of weakness. Their cries induced heavy sorrow among the survivors. 

It was unfair that the children lost their parents for them to live. Each person present vowed to protect the twins. The witch Queen silently looked into the space. She had witnessed each sacrifice they made and watched them grow. 

As the only other royal person alive, she took the leadership mantle. Gradually, the battlefield disappeared. Everything they once used to love was gone. It was up to them to build a new world. This ended with Maimuna and Malik's death.
