Bab 121: Belian's Determination

Mika, Harik and Rachel previously split up from the others, leaving Belian, Sylvia and Lisa alone against the demon Zera.

The other students, whom they escorted, headed towards the headmaster.

Sylvia was already in a fighting stance, whereas Lisa nervously drew her rapier.

"..."

Neither tensed nor nervous, Belian stood there and glared at the demon.

"Hey, boy. What are giving me this look for?" Zera said, glaring back.

Belian's eyes were filled with wrath and hatred.

"W-what are you doing? Don't provoke her!" Lisa whispered to him anxiously.

"..."

Meanwhile, Sylvia watched out for Zera's movements, however, she did not move an inch away from her spot yet.

"Hm? Looks like someone here has experience on the battlefield." Zera stated with a light smirk.

She moved a foot.

"!"

But before Sylvia or the others could react, Zera vanished from the spot and appeared behind Sylvia.
