Nerae gave it a day and then decided to pay Cirion a visit, it was only polite of him after all. So two days later, he was in a carriage heading to the rich part of the Capital, cradling a covered basket of freshly baked pastries.

Coincidentally, the guards who had been patrolling to capture Cirion had mysteriously disappeared. Did that mean that the new King truly intended to completely free them? It would explain why Solan had easily returned with Velia though.

He got to the door of the manor and knocked hesitantly, his eyes going round when none other that Cirion opened the door, a bright grin on his face that dimmed when he saw him. Behind him was Velia who was chasing a female Angel who looked a lot like Solan while holding Solan's hair and dragging him around with him.
