"You don't have to drink that," Andras said in turn, referring to the Angel's drink.
Reqiel stared at the drink in his hand like he forgot it was there, reluctantly remembering the first and last time he tried wine. "Maybe a little," He found himself saying, already taking a sip.
It was just as sweet and tart as he remembered, a heady scent of lavender rising from the cup…
"That's more than a sip, Your Highness," Andras interrupted hastily.
Reqiel reluctantly pulled the cup away from his lips, cheeks tinged pink, "After I gave you my sash too," He said in a voice heavy with disappointment.
Andras was unfazed by this tactic, taking the half-empty cup from the Angel and drinking the rest of the wine. It was a little too sweet for his tastes, and it left a tingle on his tongue in its wake.
