Bab 55: A Mysterious Savior

Clenching his eyes closed, Ashur could only hope that the energy spears would bring about a swift and painless death.

And he waited. And waited. And waited. But after a while, he found that he was still alive.

"Shouldn't the energy spears have struck me by now?" Ashur remarked to himself. “In fact, it should have hit me a few seconds ago.

He opened his eyes in surprise, only to find that a dark purple figure was fighting the alchemist.

Dressed in a long indigo cloak, the mysterious figure had deflected the energy spears from hitting Ashur and was currently battling the alchemist.

"Who is this person who came out of nowhere and saved me?" Ashur wondered in shock. "Who on earth could it be?"

Meanwhile, the peculiar stranger who had stepped in was holding their own against the powerful alchemist.

As a wisp of long hair fell out from her cloak and Ashur caught a slight glimpse of her side profile, Ashur realized surprisedly that this fighter was a female.
