"That's right, Edward is your brother-in-law. If you marry him, then you will be considered a usurper for your own sister's husband," said Sheila, staring intently at Anne.

"But, I have deep feelings for him, Mom," said Anne softly, her face sad and disappointed.

"I understand how you feel now," Sheila said softly.

"The important thing is that you never do anything with him. Your feelings will go away by themselves over time," added his father.

"I can't ..." Anne slumped on the sofa.

"You should get over Edward, he is not a good husband-to-be for you," Mr. Kwang advised his daughter.

"If you keep on marrying that man, Frederica will be very hurt and heartbroken," Sheila said quietly.

"You'd better break up with Edward, Anne," Sheila added.

"Yes, Mom," Anne nodded wearily, she was forced to obey her parents' orders for the common good, even though she loved her brother-in-law very much.
