Bab 1: chapter 2 :The pain
Inside a secret room in the Blackwood pack alpha Asher and his son Kaiden were chained to the wall and writhing in pain , they had always be in pain every full moon but this night is different it's the blood moon and the pain has intensified ten fold.
Alpha Asher knew the pain was the punishment of what their ancestors had done in the past leading to the entire lineage being cursed,the cursed had been pass down from generations, his ancestors had try to break the cursed but all their efforts had been futile.
A few decades ago a seer told his father about the a child that will be born under the red moon , and the child will help break the curse that had plague their family.
Since then his family has been waiting for the blood moon to appear knowing their messiah will be born that night .
Alpha Asher grab his son by the collar and pull him closer , despite the pain Kaiden was going through he did not shout nor utter a word he just lay down motionless and gritted his teeth.
Alpha Asher felt pity for his son ,he had never meant to find his mate because he didn't want his offspring to experience the kind of pain he always felt during the full moon but the mate pull is not something you can deny or avoid once you found your mate.
He felt a familiar pain in his chest the kind he always felt whenever he remembered his mate , tears rolled down his eye as he remembered how she died while giving birth to their son.
Holding his son more closely he whispers to kaiden's ear , "this will be the last time you'll ever feel this kind of pain," Alpha thane make up his mind to use every resources possible to find this child and break the damn curse.
Money isn't a problem for the Blackwood family, being the richest in Louisiana and America.The Blackwood family wealth was evident in their sprawling estate, and Ravenwood mansion with it meticulously manicured gardens and opulent furnishings.
Their diverse business interests add depth to their wealth and influence,with stakes in tech, finance, real estates ,airlines, logistics, oil and gas the family also owns hotel and restaurants more than Asher could keep count.
The family wealth make their pack the richest, largest and strongest in America no other clan or pack can dare go against them.
kaiden felt like his inside is being set on fire every bone in his body hurt, his veins felt as if it was lava that was flowing through them, he had never felt this kind of pain before and he wish not to feel it again . nestle in his fathers chest he silently prayed to the moon goddess for the pain to end.
