"This is not what you promised me, Alpha King. You never intervene when I am humiliated!" Now in Elias's room, Alice raised her voice and said, pointing toward the door. She should never have believed him when he made her sign a contract.

"The promise was that you would bear my heir, not that I would defend you publicly." He corrected, taking a book off the shelf.

"No! If I am humiliated, how will I gain everyone's respect, and how will our child gain it?!" She took a step forward and snapped, clenching her hands into her gown.

"The child has not arrived yet, there is no reason to be agitated." He said and she finally lost it.
