Bab 123: Madman

Whack! Whack! Whack!

Loud sounds of slapping skin echoed in the dungeon. The stench of the rotting flesh wafted into the air as if the people smelling it were standing next to the decaying bodies in the neighboring cells. Blood, sweat, and grease painted the walls and the floor, but the real sight was still the woman being tortured in that particular cell.

Beady red eyes watched as the tormentor kept hitting the bound woman with her whip. The other person's hands were shaking as if she could see what would happen to her if she failed her task at hand.

With a final whip, the tormentor made a loud sigh before tossing the whip at the spectator. "Say what again? That old hunchback visited Nicholai Rudolf and gave him treasures for reparations? That's not very nice of him. All he gave me before was spit."
