Bab 77: Strength In Leadership: Torrain's Firm Stance

Lyra's POV:

Alpha Torrain linked hands with me and walked me to the dining room. I admired the palace as we walked. It turns out that it was even more magnificent at night.

The walls seemed to shine with a dazzling glow and it looked as if it had been built with illuminant bricks. We walked until we got to the dining area. It was more like a drawing room and I was surprised to see quite several people there. The food there was also very many it looked like a buffet.

I turned to Alpha Torrain and asked. "Do you always have this number of people and food during dinner?"

He chucked and said "My sister may not have informed you but this is a banquet. The top-ranking council has sent their successors to meet with you emissaries of your pack.

"What!" I exclaimed. I was not expecting to meet so many people. I don't even know proper etiquette. How am I to stay in front of people who have learned about etiquette all their lives?
