The war room was quiet, except for the crackling of a nearby fire. Maps and reports sprawled before me, but my mind was elsewhere, replaying the morning's events. My sparring match with Marcus had been necessary, though I knew it would ruffle feathers. Leadership wasn't just about strength—it was about proving that strength when others doubted you.

Still, Sebastian's words lingered in my mind: "You'll lose that loyalty if they see you as a threat instead of a leader."

I sighed, leaning back in my chair. Leadership wasn't something I'd chosen; it had been thrust upon me when I became Luna and when I met Seb but now, with Sabrina's threat looming, I couldn't afford to falter.

A soft knock at the door pulled me from my thoughts.

"Come in," I called, straightening as Beauty, one of my maids entered holding a tray.

"Luna," she said, bowing her head slightly. "I thought you might like some tea."
