CHAPTER 12

'Reject you, Alpha King Storm Ace, as my mate.'

The words replayed in Storm's head as he gazed down. He felt his world crumble under those words. He shook his head, wincing slightly from the sharp pain Silver felt.

Raven took a step back. It had happened. But she didn't care. Storm had hurt her deeply and deserved this.

Silver growled, feeling the bond severing. Storm did his best to keep his calm and not show Raven how much her rejection pained him.

Storm gritted his teeth. "Raven, no." He paused.

"Yes," Raven asserted, clenching her fist. "Rot in pain as I, Raven…" As she spoke, Storm lifted his head, his eyes holding hers. "...suffered…"

Tori growled inwardly feeling hurt but like a she-devil she rose again in Raven's mind, syncing with Silver through Storm as the bond reconnected.

"Mate."
