Bab 89: The truth comes out

Oberon had sent messengers to assemble everyone to the palace the very next day. He didn't speak to Selena that morning and he was gloomy.

Everyone wondered what was happening these days since the king was always assembling them at the slightest issue.

"Do you not think this is a little too much? The Alpha assembles us almost every week!" A werewoman complained to her fellow werewoman.

"What can we do? It is not as if we can question him or would you do the questioning?"

She looked away shaking her head, "

I do not want to get into any trouble," she gulped.

"So it is better you keep your mouth shut, you would not like it if someone from the royal court heard what you said."

Everyone assembled as the king had ordered, from the greatest to the least. This time, Oberon didn't walk in gracefully like the last time he assembled them.
