"Sorry," Yves muttered, his eyes widening as he realized it was Vincent who had accidentally bumped into him.

A mixture of terror and anger disrupted the tranquility in his chest, compelling the blond to track Vincent's figure with his sharp gaze.

A shocked gasp nearly escaped his lips when he saw the man climb the stairs and calmly approach a figure on the second floor.

Dread crept over him and heart pounded faster as he recognized the person Vincent was heading towards. 

'Clyde...?!?!'

Yves's heart leaped into his throat as disbelief washed over him. He stood frozen, his gaze locked onto the familiar figure with his back against the railing.

How could this be?

Why did nobody tell him that Clyde would be here, let alone with Lucas and Vincent?

Before he could process it all, however, Nathan's voice broke through his shock. "Yves? What's wrong?" Nathan asked, following Yves's line of sight with a puzzled expression.
