Nathan slightly pulled back in surprise at first, but just as he was about to take it, the blond's hand swiftly moved by itself and clutched Adrian's wrist.

"Wait." Ryley said, his brown eyes sharply rolled towards Adrian as he continued with a contrived smile, "I changed my mind. I'll have it."

The air around them suspended right at that moment. Rayven couldn't help but bulge the eyes in shock when Ryley stopped him from giving the banana milk to Nathan.

Cold sweats broke out beneath his neat appearance at once. He could see the wariness from Ryley's suspicious look as he slowly took the glass from his hand.

"S-sure. Here you go." He replied, then turned to Nathan and added with a stammer, "W-wait here, I will get one for you too."

"Adrian." Ryley called, stopping Adrian in his rushed steps to get away from the table.

"Yeah?"

"Why don't you get one for yourself? You love banana milk too, right?" Ryley asked.
