The question came to his ear but he didn't immediately reply, seemingly astonished and confused at the same time.
He was busy trying to figure out how the Alpha came to know that he liked chamomile when he suddenly realized the obvious thing.
The blond sighed helplessly after he recalled that he drank chamomile tea before the press conference. Clyde must've found out while he waited for him inside that presidential suite.
Still, Ryley didn't want to admit that it was his favorite scent.
"Nice smell, but I don't particularly like it," he said, then shoved his palm into his blazer's pocket.
His eyes wandered the breathtaking view of the hills surrounding the Alpha's backyard for a while. The blond felt like the sky was just a step closer to reach, but he didn't dare— more like too prideful— to praise it.
"You don't particularly like it?" Clyde scoffed, then patted the empty space beside him. "Come on, don't waste my effort. I will pour this tea for you."
I’ve been so busy recently so sorry if the updates are a bit slow. Thank you for the support<3
