“Do you miss me?” Rowan asked.

“Of course I do. When are you coming back home?” Sloane purred.

“As soon as I handle the rogue situation,” Rowan told her gently. “What are you going to do when I come back?”

A giggle came across the line. “Love you like there is no tomorrow.”

Rowan’s face darkened. “Is that right?”

“Of course, you’re my Alpha. Who will love you more than I?”

The scowl on Rowan’s face grew. “I have to go.”

“Good luck!” Sloane called out.

Rowan's face twisted into a grin.“They will need it,” he replied as he hung up.

“Who will love me more than you? The girl who was willing to leave me so I could be happy with you,” Rowan answered Sloane’s question.

‘When I find her, you will not have a chance, Sloane. Especially when you see that I will do everything to protect her,’ Rowan promised.
