"Please let me bear the punishment alone!" he pleaded to the young King once again, not even responding to his question.

Hanson Lorin didn't know what he was supposed to do in this kind of situation. His family was always loyal to the kingdom and the throne even from his ancestors. He never thought that this day would come.

"Elian," the King called out and the Vice-Captain of the Royal Guards quickly stepped forward. "Send Minister Dilan back to his mansion. He is not to meet anyone or leave the mansion without my order."
