“Please, my master,” Norwell begged as Rhylent cut off Chasm’s air supply. “I did it. Kill me.”

"I am not your master." Rhylent loosened his grip on Chasm’s neck before he blacked out. While eyeing Norwell, Rhylent used his tentacle to slip down Chasm’s body in a deliberate caress. The alien frowned as he glided over the damaged skin. Tears sprung to Chasm’s eyes with the light touch. God, each trace over his whip marks hurt so much. He hated how every alien enjoyed torturing humans. For a moment there, Chasm thought this one might be different. He wanted to trust Rhylent when he said he didn’t believe in slaves, but that was a lie. Rhylent was like all the rest. He would delight in seeing him cry. The Dagerstanteen would gleefully watch him scream and beg precisely like all the others.

Rhylent eyed his tears as they slipped down his cheeks. The alien’s bright blue-black orbs flipped to Norwell and then to his companion Peltratria.
