Bab 17: INTERLUDE(1): CONQUERING SAINT CITY!
After the group flew off from the wrecked site, the group of over 500+ people, under the lead of Drago, White, and Apollo, started sweeping the surrounding areas...
Arriving at the next town, the day later, the group decided to rest up before anything else.
they've been fighting non-stop since they started moving because apparently "Avoiding monsters that are so weak I could kill them with a sneeze, will result in your death" statement from Drago was a very good motivator...
Although a lot of people still died during the battles, the numbers were insignificant since more survivors would end up taking the place of the deceased..
One thing of note is that the three sisters, Drago's new "Maids" and surprisingly Eve were actually quite fierce on the battlefield..
After Drago split all the survivors into 4 teams, he spread them among the women and had them sweep through the areas they passed.
The eldest sister, Abigail, was like a priestess and a paladin at the same time, her presence prevented a lot of deaths her due to a skill she had, called {HOLY LIGHT HEALING} and her combat strength was nothing to scoff at to, her skill {SWORD OF JUDGEMENT} did apparently just that, it judged enemies to death and killed them..
The cold and sexy succubus Lilly, was like an apparition on the battlefield, the ones who could see her positioning, were people with otherworldly senses like the three brothers, or people with conflicting element like Abigail all be it barely..
Her {FIELDS OF DARKNESS} skill, gave a certain amount of protection to her teammates, but it seemed that of the three sisters she cared less about casualties and focused more on herself, a move that drew a nod of approval from Drago..
Wherever she passed, blades of darkness erupted and massacred all the monsters and beasts, regardless of their levels..
Eve, with her plants and earth powers, was a perfect crowd control specialist, her presence helped a lot of the less abled survivors on her team to fight steadily and level up in the process, of the four teams, hers was the most well rounded and developed, tho it resulted in her speed of improvement dropping behind the other three as well..
The most impressive on this expedition, without a doubt, was the bubbly and cheerful Jessica, who even now had her charming smile on her face, and cackling manically, and action which when paired with her Side of the battlefield, would give one chills up their spine, everywhere, as far as the eyes could see, was a see of fire and a storm of ice, wherever she passed, her enemies all around her were first frozen, before burnt to ashes by her raging flames..
She completely lost herself in the battle, so much so that her own teammates suffered collateral damage and had to be divided up between Abigail and Eve's teams..
Her actions that would make one feel they were looking at a maniac, brought a charming smile to the face of Drago.
If earlier he was impressed by Lilly's act of focusing more on herself, then he absolutely delighted in Jessica's manic way of destroying her opponents..

After a day of fighting non-stop, the levels of the survivors rose steadily, to an average of 12 at least, which when considering that the world only went to shit a day ago, was quite an impressive feat, especially for the naturally and constitutionally weak humans..
Currently, on the topmost floor of the building the group was resting in, Drago, his siblings, the three sisters and begrudgingly Eve..
(AN: yea this guy can hold a grudge, damn lol)
Were having a discussion, well Drago and his brothers were..
"Can you guys also sense them" White asked in an indifferent voice..
"Yea, it would seem we're not the only ones with conquest in our heads" Apollo squinted his eyes as he said that..
Raising his head, looking far towards the west, Drago gave a mysterious smile 'soon' he thought inwardly before saying "that's a good thing for us then isn't"..
"Indeed, this way, we just have to take care of the various strongholds and take control of the entire saint city in one go" White nodded..
"So how many strongholds are there" Apollo inquired..
"I don't know, I can sense some ants spread out over the place, it would seem each major town has come under control of someone with a less useless bloodline" Drago replied..
"Sigh~, every bloodline is considered useless according to your standards so we won't be using it to judge anything from now on" White said with a bitter expression, to which Drago shrugged carelessly..
"So since we can't determine how powerful the various strongholds are, we'll have to split up and take control of them ourselves" White continued..
"tch.. more chores, this king doesn't like doing chores" Drago grumbled..
"you're really not going to stop with this "this king" way you started referring to yourself with".. a foreign voice intervened.. now if it was someone else who dared speak in such a meeting, even white would've killed them for insubordination, but in this case, their hands are tied since they couldn't really touch the speaker.
Looking towards Abigail "it seems this little girl here is rubbing off on you too huh" Drago said with mild annoyance..
"Humph! if you weren't so shameless and stopped bragging and boasting everytime who would have anything to say" Jessica scoffed, clearly annoyed that she was called a little girl, 'i mean what part of me is little, huh? I should be called big girl instead, a very very big girl' she thought inwardly..
(AN: preach lady, I absolutely agree with you)
"It's not bragging or boasting if I'm just speaking the truth little one" Drago spoke with puffed out chests and contempt.. "Humph! I'm not speaking to you" Jessica stomped her feet, causing waves on her massive mountains, that seemed to be protesting in the blue bouse she was wearing, crossed her arms beneath her chest and turned around, ignoring him...
A smile of victory on his face, Drago turned back to his brothers..
over the past day, he realized that the easiest way to deal with the three sisters was to be absolutely shameless, which for someone as arrogant, despotic, and prideful like him, should be demeaning, but if it was to win against these hateful women, then it was worth it hahaha..
Looking at the conversation between Drago and the three women, Apollo and white, really couldn't wrap their heads around what was going on, in just one day, it seemed Drago had been possessed since he met the three women, he got more lenient (doesn't sentence people to death for being useless at first glance more often), he got more tolerant with his brothers and they were grateful for that..
Honestly at this point, the were wondering if the the women had some sort of mind control mechanism, but then looking at their bodies and faces, it'd be weird if one wasn't charmed instead, no matter how strong-willed..
Alot of men had already been sent to the afterlife for staring after all, something everyone was helpless to stop even the three ladies, not that they looked like they wanted him to stop such acts anyway...
"So we're splitting up to take over the various strongholds, someone has to stay and watch over the survivors" Drago spoke..
"Yea, Eve said she'll stay back.. she unlocked a new skill she believed would be able to help with our construction plans afterward when we arrange everyone accordingly and she teaches them" White said while pointing at Eve..
"Alright then, let's get this over with in 2 days maximum so we can get the useless ones to work" Drago spoke in-between yawns..
"Stop calling people useless, really, your subordinates will be quite unhappy with you" Abigail pointed out.
"Drago will make a bad king" Lilly spoke in contempt..
"Yea yea whatever, if they get strong enough and prove they're not useless they can come fight me" Drago scoffed..
"that's just you asking them to seek death" Jessica looked at him in disdain..
"Exactly" he replied in contempt, a mocking smile on his lips..
*Ahem* White coughed to attract their attention..
"So how are we moving," he asked,
"doesn't matter, just pick the closest aura you can sense and move, let's get it done fast" Drago spoke..
All this while, Eve was completely silent beside White, she didn't speak even when her name was spoken, nor could she be free like the other girls.. it would seem Drago left a shadow in the proud woman's heart..
"So can we stay back and assist eve in her endeavor" Abigail spoke..
"You want to stay back?" Drago asked..
"mmm.. it'll be too much work for her alone" she smiled amiably towards Eve who nodded in appreciation..
"Alright, suite yourself"

following his thoughts, a magnificent golden light flashed and a majestic golden sword with a threatening aura appeared,
"You can use this Incase any unforseen situations arise" he handed it to Abigail..
"You're staying back too?" he asked as he looked towards Lilly, not bothering with Jessica because the girl was like glue to him and would definitely follow, and as if proving this thought right..
She jumped on his back and straddled her soft body to him "hya hya let's go already, we're wasting time"..
"Oyy this king is not your horse, get off"..
"Never"..." carry me" she refused vehemently..
shaking his head he looked towards Lilly, who nodded her head in agreement to staying behind..
"I see.. hmmm" holding his chin thought fully.
"Well I don't have anything for you now, my {{POWER OVER DEATH}} is still sealed so I can't give you anything suitable to your element.." he spoke thoughtfully..
"White, you have darkness element right? give me something" He spoke to White, who shook his head before conjuring up a pair of life like dual swords made of pure and thick darkness, seemingly capable of swallowing all light, before handing it to Drago, who gave it to Lilly while saying "if anyone stares obscenely, you're free to kill without hesitation"
Saying so and with Jessica on his back he ordered..
"MOVE OUT"...

(AN: MAN, THIS CHAPTER IS BY FAR THE LONGEST CHAPTER I'VE WRITTEN TILL DATE, AND IT'S ONLY AN INTERLUDE TO EXPLAIN EVENTS OF THE WEEK BEFORE CHAPTER 15.. DAMN..
MOST OF Y'ALL MIGHT BE UPSET OF MY FOCUSING ON THE WOMEN BUT I WANT TO BUILD THEM UP A LITTLE, I BELIEVE WE'RE ALL TIRED OF DAMSELS IN DISTRESS NO?.. ANY WAY I SHOULD BE ABLE TO COVER THE EVENTS WITHIN THE WEEK IN 1-3 CHAPTERS)
