"Don't worry, I'll destroy it easily." Shoto stated with absolute confidence.
The boy heard him and didn't bother about him anymore. If he wanted to be severely injured, he would let him do so by himself. There was no way he was going to be in the same boat as the suicidal man.
Shoto looked at the people fleeing and shook his head. How were they supposed to enter UA by running away?
His face remained emotionless, but excitement could be seen in his eyes. He froze the rabbit's leg and instantly jumped up using ice pillars as his support. As expected, the rabbit didn't even stop in his tracks when his legs were frozen. The ice instantly broke apart.
His eyes turned serious as he also started lowering the temperature even more. His body temperature started dropping, and icy breath could be seen from his mouth. He was shivering from the cold that came from his right side, but he endured it. Just mere coldness, what else has he not endured before?
He continued freezing every part of the rabbit while running left and right, dodging each and every blow of the rabbit paws(?). However, it was all for naught. The rabbit could easily destroy all his ice with ease. Although he couldn't freeze the rabbit in its place, the rabbit wasn't doing much better either. He was rapidly destroying all the nearby buildings while missing the figure which was dodging each and every blow.
The rabbit became slightly frustrated and used 30% of his power without thinking. The speed of his punch immediately accelerated, and before Shoto could react, he was punched squarely on his chest, causing him to fly back a few meters.
"Argh!" Shoto groaned as he bent over and vomited all over the ground. "This damn bastard, he could move even faster?" But he had no time to continue thinking as the rabbit had hopped over to him and started punching him again.
This time however, he reacted before he was punched again, constructing a huge block of ice that managed to stall for time before the punch landed on the ground, allowing him to dodge to the side.
'I need to get to higher ground.' He thought to himself when he realised that freezing the ground did not work on the rabbit. He wanted to try reaching the rabbit's head and find out whether his plan would work.
He immediately ran towards the nearby building and started running upwards. He looked behind and as expected, he saw the bunny hopping towards him.
Just as the rabbit was going to punch the building down, Shoto decided that he was high enough and jumped towards the rabbit's head.
Mid flight, he aimed his right towards the rabbit's head and let out a gush of ice with the intent to freeze it head.
Contrary to his expectations, the rabbit turned his head towards him with scary speeds, and shocking him, let out a breath of ice to counter his own.
"WHAT!" For the first time in this exam, his emotionless expression was broken due to the shock he received.

"Oh, someone managed to make Yoshinon use his ice? Even if it's just a clone, it was still almost as powerful as the original though..." Shido smiled and muttered.
Though not very loud, Present Mic still managed to hear his mutter. He was surprised as well. He knew the power of Yoshinon as it wasn't the first time he saw his prowess, and the fact that a mere student managed to force Yoshinon to use his ice was surprising.
More than surprised though, he was happy that a talented student had arrived in their school. Especially after last year where the duo just expelled one entire hero class. His eyes twitched as he recalled the face of the principle after he met with the duo.
The duo continued watching the young boy try his best to fight against the giant rabbit, but he was slowly losing. They haven't seen the profiles of the students yet, but they knew that he was a cut above the rest.
"This guy is going to class 1-A." Shido stated confidently. If Yoshinon have not used his ice powers, he would have lost quickly. Of course, Shido only saw that Shoto's ice was getting weaker while Yoshinon's ice remained strong, that's why he thought Shoto would lose.
But he didn't know that it was because Shoto refused to use his left, and that was the main reason why the fight was one sided, with Yoshinon attacking and Shoto running around and defending while dropping giant ice shards every once in a while.

"OOOO...MY LITTLE FRIENDS, TIME'S UP!!!" The fights began to stop one after another.
Shoto wasn't too worried about his score as he had demolished almost a quarter of all the robots and some students who dared to attack him all by himself before running into the giant rabbit, where he spent the last 15 minutes fighting against.
Despite all the running and dodging, his face did not have the trace of a single sweat. If not for his occasional pant for breath, the other participants would have thought that he just strolled around the place the entire time. He clenched his fists in frustration. He remembers the scene where he was almost smashed to the ground if not for Present Mic's announcement. His expressionless expression appeared back on his face, but deep in his eyes, one could see the fire burning brightly.
He was excited more than angry. He knew that he would find a lot more challenge here than anywhere else. A challenge where he could push himself hard enough to become as strong as, no, stronger than his father without the use of his left. He had seen what ice could do, and how Yoshinon had used it more efficiently and effectively than himself.
People either bowed their heads in sadness or had a hopeful look on their faces after coming out of the exam grounds. It wasn't just a question of honour to be recommended. If it was just about entering UA, most of those here were sure to be able to do it. No. It was about the difference in treatment they would receive in the future. Graduating from UA was a bright halo. But graduating from UA as a recommended student was the brightest one.
It would open all the doors to them. Sponsors and agencies would fight for them like crazy. It was, unfortunately, the sad truth. As time passed, the heroes became more common and regularised, people began to see it more as a job rather than what it was.
Shido had seen a few excellent students while they were rampaging across the site. Too bad they only accepted four this year, or any other year. There were truly a lot of talents, like the guy who shot lasers from his mouth, or the girl who could control plants. Shido could think of many applications and different uses of their quirk. It had so much potential! Yet they only performed it to their basic functions.
On the other hand, there were people like Shoto who not only had excellent control over his ice, but also excellent decision making. Or Momo who thought of plans that were a few steps ahead of her opponents, planting traps everywhere before students even walked on that street. Although Shido never saw Momo fight that huge rabbit, he knew that with the correct plans and ideas, she would be able to manage it almost as well as Shoto did.
It was people like them who had perfected their quirk usage that would be selected. Of course, it was just part of the overall assessment. Things like backstabbing, attacking, lethal attacks that aimed to maim or kill, teamwork, solo work all contributed to their overall score. And Shido knew for sure that Shoto had scored the highest possible in this test.
"I look forward to seeing you in my class..." Shido said to himself before disappearing along with the giant rabbit.

A/N: After writing 80 chapters on this thing, I realised that it was hard making a story where the mc is nigh-omnipotent (Ain and Ain Soph) and nigh-omniscient (Rasiel)... It would make the story boring...
