Chen Rui didn't say anything, instead, she replied to her husband by giving him a smile.

"Your dad is just kidding." She didn't want her daughter to be indifferent when it comes to boys. Besides, Chen Rui saw how relieved Yanyan was earlier when she saw that she has someone she knew in the class. Anyway, be good, okay, sweetie?" She gave her daughter a light peck on her lips.

Yanyan nodded, smiling cutely, "Yanyan has a friend now, so don't worry, mommy." She turned to her father and kissed his cheek.

Jin Mingze sighed at the word 'friend'. Even if he didn't want his daughter to be friends with boys, it was not like he can do anything about it, right?

It was too obvious in her face, how she was delighted to have that boy in the class. 

"See you later." He kissed her forehead before he placed her down on the ground. 

"Bye-bye, Mommy! Bye-bye, Daddy!" Yanyan waved at them before she entered the room again.
