Konoha, Jail... well, Prison, but same stuff
in a cell, Neji was looking at the window showing the sunset while he ignored his uncle talking to him
"... you're not listening, are you?"
And right on cue, Hiashi also noticed it... almost like he heard the narrator...
"..." Neji remained silent
"Sigh... Neji, That's important... If you don't listen I can't get you out of here..." Hiashi sighed, Neji has been in jail for a week already, but he doesn't seem to care, after all, Hiashi tried every day to have Neji cooperate so he could get released, but he refused every time
"I don't need your help" Neji said in a flat tone
"... Neji, I am tired of this farce, just cooperate so we can go back to the clan, or else-" Hiashi tried to say, but he was interrupted
"Or else what? you'll use the seal?
Oh no, whatever will I do?" The scorn on Neji's voice was evident
"... I wouldn't do that to you" Hiashi said, prompting Neji to chuckle
'Yeah, like you wouldn't let your brother become a slave or your nephew... or let your brother die because of your mistakes... of course, you wouldn't' He thought
"Just leave me alone" Was what he actually said
"Sigh... I'll come back tomorrow, make your mind Neji..." Hiashi sighed for the nth time today as he turned back and walked away
He couldn't do anything to change Neji's mind... again...
'It seems that letting a Yamanaka read his mind is the only way after all...' He thought sadly
He didn't want that, but Neji refused to see reason...
As soon as Hiashi left his field of vision, Neji's face turned into one of disgust
"It's been a week already, can't they just stop pestering me?" Did he ask... himself?

Neji has been mad with everyone ever since the village put him into prison and asked him to tell them everything he knew about Rimuru, which wasn't much... not that he would tell then even that, why he did what he did and stuff like that, on the name of morality even

This stupid village only sees me as a tool, the clan sees me as a slave... people see me as a traitor... and all because of that BASTARD Rimuru!

the sun going down ended up casting a big shadow in the cell, from which an eery laugh could be heard
"Hehehe, I like your attitude" A voice called out
"WHO?" Neji jumped back, turning to the direction the sound came from, just to see... nothing, just a shadow
"...Am I hallucinating?" He asked himself, maybe the extended isolation was eating away his mental health after all...
"You aren't" A pair of eyes, and a mouth appeared in the shadow, Neji couldn't tell if it was smiling or if it was just the shape of the mouth, not that this mattered anyways
"Who... No, What are you?" Neji asked, obviously tense since his chakra was sealed
"Me? I am... your chance at revenge" the voice said, and albeit interested, Neji had enough of believing random people once and paying for it to do it again
"I see you don't trust me, and you have no reason to
but what would you do if I told you I know a way for you to be able to kill all your enemies?" It asked
Neji stared at the weird shadowy being for a good minute before answering
He had already lost everything, what did he have to lose anymore? his life? great! the easiest way to reunite with his father
'One last time... I'll trust someone for ONE LAST TIME' He all but screamed in his mind
"Fine" He answered, surprising even Zetsu, who had prepared dozens of plans for how to convince Neji, yet none of those took into account that Neji could instantly agree
Not that he was complaining, he was just... surprised
'Heh... asides from Rimuru, this kid is the first to surprise me in centuries...' He thought as he grinned widely
"Then, We have ourselves a deal kid"
Neji stared at the yellow eyes of Zetsu, who stared back
'... I hope I don't regret this... again...'
As much as Neji looked calm, his emotions were a mess, as you could see by his previous monologue stunt
The Hyuga clan had turned their backs on him the day he was born, his father died and he knew that as soon as he stepped inside that clan, he would be tortured by the seal constantly
Because that's just the people who the main branch of the hyugas are...
The village would brand him as a traitor, and as such his ninja career was over, the only chance to keep it would be to be mind raped by a Yamanaka, and no thank you
And lastly, Rimuru, his last escape route just closed his escape paths...
thus the reason he didn't speak as Hiashi prompted him to do, neither did he try to have a leave from jail for any reason he could find
the moment he stepped out of this cell, he was dead
easy as that
But now, another choice appeared in front of him... go crazy and accept the shadowy creepy thing's help...
Doesn't matter the price, as long as he died by his own choice, and not by Rimuru's choice of backstabbing him
After all, that's all that is left for him... to choose how he will die

Kaede walked alongside Sasuke, towards the Uchiha training grounds
"So, are you gonna tell me what you wanted to show me, or should I assume your training with Kakashi finally turned you into a perv?" Kaede asked as she walked with her hands behind her head
"I already told you it's a secret, and be serious" Sasuke said with a frown... or was it his normal face? it's hard to tell honestly
Kaede rolled her eyes at his pathetic attempt at changing topics, and while she had a good idea of why Sasuke called her here, she couldn't care less
'This kid is so annoying... I have many more important things to do right now, but noooo... I need to help him with whatever... sigh' She sighed mentally as they arrived at the middle of the Uchiha training grounds
"So, we are here... what's the big 'surprise' then?" As much as Kaede wanted to make a joke with some innuendos, She just wasn't in the mood for it, completely disinterested in Sasuck
"This" Sasuke said as his eye changed from black to red, with 3 tomoes on it, just for said tomoes to spin and approach the center of his eye
where they fused and expanded outwards until it became a weird pattern that Kaede would call three triangles, just because
'So it really was about his broody eye... though, what's up with this pattern? it's different from the original...'

'Did I? I honestly just skipped most of it... it's just some kids fighting two forces of nature after all...' She thought
"The Mangekyou??" She actually said, faking shock and excitement
'Maybe I should stop being a ninja and become an actress' She thought off handedly

Sasuke was about to talk again when suddenly he fell from a cliff, luckily he managed to save himself, but he was most likely hanging there... such a cliffhanger is uncalled for
