Bab 32: 31: Laughing Alone

Lin FenXiang heaved a sigh as he collapsed on his bed, Nox sitting on his chest as he ruffled the kitten's fluffy hair.

“Hey, Nox, do you think I did the right thing by coming back to China?“ He asked with a soft sigh. “I mean, come on, I could have stayed there for a more days if I wanted. But I was just, I don't know, a coward?“ He closed his eyes, stopping himself from rambling.

“Why am I asking you that?“ He smiled dryly, his eyes fixated on the ceiling as he spoke. “It's not like you are going to give me your opinion.“

The black kitten meowed in response, snuggling into his chest.

Lin FenXiang chuckled at himself as he looked around the room. “Besides painting, what should I do? I mean, I don't have a lot of things to do, right?“ He made a thoughtful face.
