I have been in this tube for a few hours now and am trying to figure out a way to get out of here , the rat has been back a few times for two of the bodies and ' Success ' has managed to find a pattern for it's return so I have to break out of here by then the plan is simple am going to use ' Maker ' to create a suitable skill to blow this tube which ' success ' informed me is not made out of normal glass but a glass the has been infused with magisteel making it almost impossible to destroy and the magic circles on the top and bottom act as Anti Magic are generators and according to ' Success ' trying to deactivate them and then break out of here is harder than just creating a skill to blow the tube up , since I was an engineer in my previous life I know quite alot and with ' Success ' helping me I can recreate alot of this from my previous life and with ' Records ' added to that I can use Maker to create almost anything but the problem comes with skills which are engraved to the soul and the way they work is also not in the Records so I have to improvise.

Now the skill am going to create is called ' Rail gun ' it uses magicules to generate ' plasma ' which has a temperature similar to that at the center of the sun , ' ha , eat that '. I wanted to create something similar to the Drago Nova Milim used but with out ' Magicule Breeder Reactor ' it's just not that easy and this tube where I am at is pretty much isolated from the outside world which means I can't just freely absorb magicules and am using my own reserves for everything ( which are huge ) I might not know what the average is like but I know I have a nice one.

' now which body should I take , a soldier or a scientist maybe a monster . . . a monster is no go since it's going to be hard controlling it already and having a monster's body would just make thing harder hmm . . I guess elf it is , who wouldn't like being an elf , but which one '. I thought as I looked at the corpses through the glass and there was one that looked younger , with less wounds on his body so I decided his going to be my first host.

« Set the target to that individual » I told ' Success ' guessing she or it will know who I mean.

« Yes » . no sooner had I said that than I felt like regretting it as a large amount of power flowed from my body and gathered at my ' mouth ' , I could see it growing into a white ball of energy that gave off a feeling of dread when it got large enough it was released . . the white beam of plasma shot from my mouth leaving behind a white trail , it melted the tube in an instant and did not stop there but continued to melt through the walls at high speeds and the last thing I heard was an explosion , ' Oh , shit that was amazing it might even be on the same level as a Drago Nova '. I was in daze feeling happy at the moment not realizing the problems it might cost me in future , the beam had melted a perfect hole in the glass tube and it's sides where still red hot.

I slowly floated out of the tube and the hot sides didn't bother me much as I had ' Thermal fluctuation Resistance ' when I stepped out I could clearly feel the difference between the magicules in here and the ones in the tube , ' I wonder how this body looks like '. I really haven't had a good view of what this body looks like since the glass was transparent and all.

' oh right I forgot about that '. « yes » immediately after confirming everything infront of me started to change like a mirror and a figure was revealed , it looked like something straight out of a horror movie , slightly humanoid but with no arms instead tentacles that had hooks , it's face was also unrecognizable as it had no facial features but a mouth that looked like a hole with many rows of teeth , it was semi-transparent like a ghost and didn't have legs but some sort of tail that floated in are and worst of all . . IT DIDN'T HAVE A LITTLE BROTHER. ' ok calm down it's not like this is going to be my body forever , right '. I tried to convince myself and by now I was tired of looking at it so I asked ' Success ' to change the perception back to normal.

Now a host , the few minutes I have been out side I was already feeling something pushing against me and I felt ' naked ' not the literal sense of it even though I was , what am saying is the lack of skin it was really uncomfortable , with no time to waste I got closer to the elven scientist.

« what should I do now » I asked.

' a name well I guess my old name was not that good anyway and I have taken the guy's memories , the name wouldn't hurt '. after thinking about it I replied. « Yes »

After the announcement of the Voice of the World I felt the name curving it's self onto my soul and I knew that from now on I am no longer David but Liam.
