Lav quietly observed the two.

Jaxen lightly patted her shoulder, attempting to diffuse her anger, though it only made her grit her teeth in frustration. "I can't believe you're using a stranger to cover for your mistake" Elowen muttered under her breath before forcing a smile as she turned to Lavanya.

Lav stood up from her seat to introduce herself amidst the chaos. "I am Lavanya Irvine" "Elowen Clain," Elowen took Lav's hand with a polite smile. "Thank you for keeping this monster in check. I was worried he might be out doing something reckless, like finding drugs"
