　　Dane denies any feelings, so I can summarise that my love is one-sided no matter what I tell myself. He has a girlfriend. I was delusional. Not to mention Dane is probably not even capable of dating one girl and making her happy. Charmaine already seems insecure because of him, and I know he isn’t honest with her. I don’t want that for myself.

　　“So he never mentioned Tyler?” Elisa probes, her voice dropping to quiet levels, and I know her shyness is overtaking and what she’s hinting at. Bringing me out of my thoughts.

　　“Tyler said hi, and that was about it,” I add quickly, with no intention of telling her that Dane made a point of bringing her up because of him. Mocking Tyler’s sudden new interest in Instagram. I wish I could believe Tyler’s intentions were pure, but that guy is as bad as Dane when it comes to girls.

　　If he plays with her and hurts her, I will castrate him.
