THE JEALOUS FOOL

Emelia was not happy to see Fred, and she made it known to him by staring at him as he was eating a hot dish of pozole. Her eyes were looking at him, unblinking with an evil gaze.

The food was delicious, but to Fred, it was awkward, he did not know whether to call it breakfast or lunch. Emelia was looking at him as if he was a bug, she wanted to squash hard under a foot. He coughed softly, "Lily, how is your food?" he asked in a teasing tone, making small talk.

Lily tittered in mild embarrassment, placing a finger over her nose, "You want to tease me because I ordered another bowl of food?"

Fred chuckled, he was startled when he saw Lily ordering an extra plate of food. He remembered when they were still dating, she wasn't a big eater, "I have never seen you eat twice in a row before, I was surprised when you ordered a bowl of Chinese rice and gravy."
