There was a heavy silence that filled the room. Until Myrene finally spoke her answer to the headmistress' words.

"No, Headmistress Virena." Myrene looked intently at the headmistress' eyes. With the words that the headmistress mentioned, Myrene snapped out of her useless thoughts. She was indeed naïve which she won't dare to admit. "Having someone at my side who has one of the highest quality strength and status, bound by a contract to follow me until her death, is not something I would be able to get with just anyone given the circumstances. This world..." Myrene paused for a bit. "This world is still too powerful and I know it will be crueler for me.
