Aziz was running late. 

How did Adele even know? 

Because she has been checking her phone every five minutes instead of concentrating on her work which was checking on those numbers they got from Peter's place. So far she had sent the soldiers to interrogate the few contracts they have been able to trace down. But the workload was too much.

Unable to take it anymore, Adele picked up her phone and called Aziz. Just because the two of them slept together, doesn't mean he was going to take liberties with her. She was fucking serious with her job and he had to do the same.

However, Adele called and called but there was no response and that made her brows furrow. This was the first time Aziz missed her call, he was always alert and attentive to his phone meaning it didn't have to ring twice before he answered. Did something happen? Adele was no longer feeling comfortable. What if Elijah tracked him down?
