Bab 101: The Silent Contract

While the woman remained immobilized and unable to speak, Qin Chen seized the opportunity to make a small cut on her finger, drawing a drop of blood.

The woman clearly displayed her reluctance through her eyes, but she was utterly powerless due to Shen Yulan's technique.

"Is this sufficient?" Qin Chen asked, showing his blood and the woman's blood to Shen Yulan.

Shen Yulan nodded. "This will do. Let me handle the rest," she said, then began to perform the blood binding technique.

Two drops of blood in Qin Chen's palm hovered, swirling and forming the Yin and Yang symbols.

The next moment, the two droplets of blood re-entered the respective cuts on both Qin Chen and the woman. Simultaneously, ancient Chinese characters in blood-red color appeared above both of them.

Shortly after, the characters vanished.

"Is it done?" Qin Chen inquired.
