Bab 112: - Protect the Temple

*Reactive Mission: Protect the Temple.*

The message popped up as Gus ran out of the room, and the sight of the statues moving filled his vision. The heads of the statues, which resembled eyes more than they did actual heads, glowed with a ferocity that resembled the heart of a dying star. They carried huge weapons, scaled up to match the size of the giant statues.

Some of the weapons resembled giant axes, while others resembled clubs. The frontmost statues held large, long halberds, while the ones that found themselves further back carried bows.

Gus ran outside, carefully weaving between the legs of the statues as he made his way past the slow moving things. The others followed him from close behind, tightly following his path through the statues.
