Bab 164: - Battle Before the Bridge

The fighting had already begun by the time that Gus and the Obera he was with got to the top of the elevator.

Before the doors opened, Gus could clearly hear the sounds of blades clashing together and bodies being thrown around, even through the thick doors of the elevators. And once they opened, Gus saw how much trouble the Obera found themselves in.

The Obera had not attempted to strike yet, but had been caught out by a group of Primia that stood guard in front of the bridge of the ship as they moved upwards to their target. One was out of the fight completely, and lay unmoving up against a wall with clear broken bones. One was certainly dead, and had a gaping hole in their stomach that was empty; blood and guts pooled around the body in a sickening display of the brutality of the Primia.
