Bab 47: Chapter 47: A Saturday Ruined

**Chapter 47: A Saturday Ruined**

Luo Miyang struggled for a while before she finally threw off the covers and sat up in bed, her hair tousled and her eyes still heavy with sleep. Despite her anticipation for a leisurely Saturday, the sudden ringing of her phone disrupted the peaceful morning. Seeing an unfamiliar number on the screen, she quickly answered, her voice gentle and polite. "Hello?"

However, the person on the other end had no regard for her kindness. A deafening roar erupted from the phone. "What the hell are you doing? Why did you take so long to answer? Are you trying to get yourself killed?" The voice was furious, and it was clear that the person had been boiling with anger.

That familiar, domineering voice… Was it An Shiyun Kui? Luo Miyang's heart skipped a beat, and any trace of sleep vanished instantly. His enraged tone sent a shiver down her spine. She quickly lowered her head and mumbled apologetically, "I'm sorry, I didn't hear it at first. Is there something you need?" It was strange. Why would he suddenly call her?

Her question only provoked An Shiyun Kui's wrath further. "Damn it! Where are you? If you don't deliver the clothes to the studio within half an hour, you're dead!" With that, he hung up, leaving behind a string of despair-inducing beeps.

Luo Miyang slowly closed the phone, suddenly recalling that he had asked her to be his assistant a couple of days ago. From the faint sounds of moving equipment and the discussions of staff during the call, she deduced that he must be in the middle of a photoshoot. The clothes he mentioned were probably for the shoot, which explained his urgency.

With that realization, Luo Miyang quickly searched her bag and found the business card he had given her. She dialed the number printed on it.

The early birds sang melodiously in the sky, their voices like gentle raindrops filling the morning with life and vitality.

About twenty-five minutes later, a royal blue taxi pulled up in front of a renowned photography company in the city. Exhausted and hungry, Luo Miyang pushed the door open, stepped out, and hurried toward the luxurious and imposing studio entrance, clutching a delicate pink-laced gift box in her arms.

The "tic" photography company, located in the city center, was famous across the nation. Its lighting designers, stylists, photographers, and other staff were top-notch, drawing in talent from both domestic and international sources. With state-of-the-art equipment, "tic" was the go-to studio for music and film companies, though its services came with a hefty price tag. Only the most popular stars or large-scale advertising projects could afford to shoot there.

With the warm help of the reception staff, Luo Miyang quickly found the studio where An Shiyun Kui was working. She gently pushed the door open and stepped inside, finding a photoshoot in full swing. The staff was fully engrossed in their tasks, executing every step with meticulous professionalism.

All eyes were fixed on the two stunning figures under the lights. Following their gaze, Luo Miyang's breath caught as she froze in place, her breath seemingly suspended.

Before a backdrop of silk-smooth blue fabric, An Shiyun Kui stood in a red robe, looking seductively enchanting. His snow-white hair cascaded over the crimson robe, the stark contrast making him appear like a beautiful, deadly poppy blooming amidst endless snow. His eyebrows were long and elegant, his skin smooth like polished jade, and his ruby-like eyes glowed with a bright, blood-like sheen.

At that moment, he was calmly gazing at the tall girl in his arms, his lips curving into a tempting smile. The girl, with pale blue eyes, radiated a delicate aura, her long black hair fluttering in the wind, giving her an ethereal beauty. Together, they looked like divine beings, their beauty so dazzling it was almost painful to look at.

Luo Miyang couldn't believe her eyes. The usually arrogant and domineering An Shiyun Kui could embody such soft allure so perfectly, making her wonder if that tender grace had always been a part of him.

Just as she was lost in thought, a sharp knock on her head snapped her back to reality. She winced in pain and looked up at the now furious An Shiyun Kui, who had been the picture of soft allure just moments before.

"Are you a two-legged turtle? Why are you so slow? You made me wait forever." Although he still wore the red robe and his eyes remained seductive, the moment he stepped away from the camera, his devilish personality returned, his tone cold and domineering. An Shiyun Kui, who had never waited for anyone or had to chase after others, was growing more furious by the second. He couldn't resist knocking on her head again, hoping to see her pained expression.

He really is a violent maniac, Luo Miyang thought, hurriedly stepping back a few paces and holding her sore head. Only when she was sure she was out of his reach did she raise her face and explain, "It's Saturday, so I woke up a bit late… I'm really sorry." She stuck out her tongue apologetically. What she didn't dare admit was that she had been so busy with classes that she had completely forgotten about being his assistant.

Just then, a staff member called out to An Shiyun Kui to change his outfit. Luo Miyang quickly retrieved a luxurious, snow-white robe with elegant, intricate patterns from the box, carefully smoothing out the faint wrinkles. Once An Shiyun Kui had removed his red robe, she immediately draped the new one over him.

Meanwhile, the makeup artist was busy removing the seductive makeup from An Shiyun Kui's face, applying a light layer of powder that softened his features, making him appear even more gentle. The transformed An Shiyun Kui looked nothing like the enchanting figure from moments before. Now, clad in the white robe, he exuded an aura of purity, as if he were an untouchable, noble figure.

But Luo Miyang had no time to admire his breathtaking elegance, as she was focused on fastening the long row of silken buttons that resembled cool moons on his chest. After what felt like an eternity, she finally secured the last button, only to realize that there was still an unfastened slit on the right side.

Did she… button them wrong from the start? Luo Miyang couldn't believe she could be so clumsy. She glanced up at An Shiyun Kui's icy eyes, which were barely containing his anger, and awkwardly apologized, "I'm sorry… I didn't mean to. I'll redo it from the beginning. I'm really sorry..."

Before she could reach for the first button, a pair of slender, delicate hands rested on An Shiyun Kui's shoulders, stopping her. A cold, emotionless voice unexpectedly entered her ears. "You're not needed here now. I'll take care of it for Kui."

Luo Miyang looked up with effort and recognized the girl who had been posing with An Shiyun Kui for the cosplay cover shoot. The light danced lightly on her jet-black eyelashes, giving her pale blue eyes an unusual hue. Her tall, elegant figure exuded an air of cold, unapproachable beauty. But when she looked at An Shiyun Kui, a gentle, intoxicating light stirred in her once-cold eyes.
