Bab 41: Dangerous Bite

"A soul eater? Are you sure a soul eater can save Drake? How?" Red asked one after another. Her excitement rose with this discovery.

The bartender nodded. "Yeah, a soul eater's blood is magical. Others think a soul eater is unique because its bite can kill vampires, but it doesn't end there. A soul eater's most crucial ability is to heal any injury that comes from black magic."

"—Really? Are you sure about that? Once Drake drinks the blood of a soul eater, his life will be out of danger?" Red asked reassuringly.

"It seems you're not listening? As I told you, a soul eater is a rare species, so the possibility of finding one is too low," the bartender uttered while shaking his head.

"I know that. Because of the rareness of a soul eater, my life has been ruined." Red uttered with a bitter smile.

The bartender didn't understand Red's remarks, so his frown couldn't remove.
