Bab 302: It's Lin Feng

"You won't get out of this alive," Lin Feng's voice boomed from behind. Graves glanced over his shoulder and saw Lin Feng hovering in the sky, its black wings flapping behind his back. Down below are his associates, who were baring their teeth, as if angered by the loss of their comrades.

"Reynolds…this is the confirmation we need that Lin Feng is alive." 

"Looks like my promise to my girlfriend won't come true huh?" Reynolds chuckled though deep inside, he was terrified. The realization that he might not make it back to fulfill his promise was crushing, yet he masked his fear with humor, a defense mechanism he had developed over years of service.

Graves turned to face Reynolds, placing a firm hand on his shoulder. "We're not done yet. As long as we're breathing, there's hope. We stick to the plan, fight smart, and we might just see another day."
