Bab 3: NEBULA
The fact that despite years of research and development, no cure for cancer had been found, led to a group of scientists in 2040 conducting experiments on a certain virus that had spread in the year 2019. Their aim was to combine it with different kinds of animal and plant tissues, in the hope of making a scientific breakthrough.
After years of experimentation, the scientists managed to combine the virus's DNA with a flower known as "hyacinthos". The medicine created by the scientists was named "necrotis", a name that sounded like necromancy, also known as the art of revival. This medicine proved to be extremely effective and was able to cure cancer of all types.
However, the scientists were unaware of the unintended consequences of their creation. The cancer cells that were removed using "necrotis" didn't die out as expected, but instead took over the minds of animals like a parasite. This phenomenon continued for a decade, during which the virus mutated enough to be airborne and able to infect humans. The virus was now named "Nebula".
The group of scientists who created this virus were horrified by the outcome of their experiment. They managed to create a prototype vaccine for this virus, but it was too late to prevent its spread. The recordings and data of the creation of the virus and vaccine prototype were documented by these scientists and safely stored in their warehouse.
The scientists were consumed by guilt and shame, and unable to face the consequences of their actions, they committed suicide
