Rain frowned, taking in the familiar ceiling above her. She immediately sat up and asked, "We're back home?"
"Yes, we brought you and Xander back here," Sanya explained. "Dr. Lambert agreed after confirming that you passed out due to exhaustion and lack of sleep. He said you needed proper rest."
Rain's heart skipped a beat. "Alexander is back too? Where is he?" she asked, a crease forming on her forehead.
Sanya hesitated, her expression turning awkward. "Well… he's still adjusting. He asked to stay in another room."
Rain scoffed faintly, though her smile didn't quite reach her eyes. "That's ruthless," she muttered. Then, with a small sigh, she added, "But I guess I shouldn't be greedy. What matters is that he's awake."
