He picked up the phone and dialed August's mobile number. He now had a higher regard for August because it was August who recommended Yang Ping's first CNS paper to Manstein. It was because of this paper that Manstein remembered Yang Ping, leading to that impulsive click which otherwise would not have made him see those three historic papers so soon.

The usually proud Manstein had never before addressed August with the title "Mr.," opting instead to call him by his name.
