Secondly, Rhode had just been awarded an honor by Lydia and even though it was only a feudal rank of Baron, the nobles knew that this was a political statement and Lydia was declaring that she wouldn't give up on Rhode. If Rhode was the main culprit of the entire incident, would Lydia even do this?
