The solemn declaration from the hippo with that funny face did not have any effect on Mizuno. Instead of making him shake in fear, it made him suspicious of that mischievous smile on his mentor's face.

"He is up to no good! Why is he smiling like that?" Mizuno thought. He clutched Lobo to his bosom and stood up. "Mr. Begemot! Your smile is scaring me! What are you planning to do so early in the morning? And..." pointing at the pack of wolves, he said, "Are they the reinforcement you spoke about?"

Mr. Begemot grinned.

"He is definitely up to no good." A convinced Mizuno thought.

"Well, I thought they would help you get better. I felt you were getting depressed and sad in a new place. So, I called them. We went to your old place and asked them to come uplift your spirit. We did good, didn't we?"

Mizuno sighed. "Yes! You did! But I am worried about that smile of yours. What are you planning?" Mizuno said in a skeptical voice with furrowed eyebrows.
