Song Jia turned her attention to Gu Ning.

"Are you already familiar with the products in the store?"

"Yes, Master. I've been a loyal customer even before.."

Song Jia's lips curved in a smile.

"Good. Then I assume you won't have any problem taking on more responsibilities in the store?"

"Master! I–it will be my honor!" Gu Ning quickly stood and bowed.

Some of those who had heard this, glanced at Lu Ping to see her reaction. However, they could only see a smile on Lu Ping's face.

It would seem that Lu Ping didn't have anything against this decision of their Master.

However, those who didn't know Song Jia well, they wondered if their Master was also smitten with Gu Ning's beauty.

But right after Song Jia said this, she turned her attention to her food.

Wan Yan made some small talk with the others as Song Jia continued to eat.
