Gu Ning could only nod obediently.

She bowed once more and left, returning to her post.

Lu Ping watched her retreating back. She then turned to Xiong Chen, who was still staring at the stairs which Gu Ning had used to go up to the second floor.

His brows were pulled together.

He had a long sigh.

Only then, he saw that Lu Ping had been observing him.

"What?" His brows shot up in surprise.

She wiggled her brows. "Brother Xiong Chen–it seems that you are growing up!"

"What are you talking about? I've grown up long ago.." He avoided his gaze.

"Eh? Hahaha.. This is the first time I've seen you like this thought? Hahaha.. What's this? What's this? I could see clearly with my own two eyes."

"See what?!"

Lu Ping however, didn't back down. "What else? That you like her!"

Xiong Chen was taken aback. His face flushed red. He covered his face in embarrassment. But his red earlobes betrayed him.
